Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients admitted to ICU and are on non\-invasive mechanical ventilation.
  • •2\. Both genders male and female
  • •3\. Adults 16 to 60 years
  • •4\. Patients self\-dependent for functional activities before admission to hospital

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients are excluded if they had undergone any surgery like thoracic, cardiac, abdominal or fractures.
  • •2\. Any condition restricting mobility.
  • •3\. Ulcers or open wounds
  • •4\. Cancer or metastasis.
  • •5\. Patients with neurological deficits.
  • •6\. The patient will have no invasive femoral arterial lines.
  • •7\. Patient with invasive ventilation like endotracheal tube or tracheostomy tube .
  • •pre\-existing neuromuscular disease
  • •8\. Radiotherapy or chemotherapy within the previous 6 months
