Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Be at least 21 years of age;
- •Have a diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux;
- •Be willing to attend the sessions of the research protocol in full;
- •Know how to read and write;
Exclusion Criteria
- •Present lesions on the skin in the region where the clay poultice will be applied;
- •Patients undergoing recent gastroesophageal surgery (time less than 30 days), who present a surgical incision in the healing process and still under the effect of post\-surgical drug therapy (analgesics, antipyretic and antiemetic);
- •Use of topical medications in the region that compromise the application of epigastric cataplasm.
