- •Intubated patients of more than 18 years of age were included in the study
排除标准
- •1\. Patients requiring emergency tracheostomy.
- •2\. Patients with cervical spine injury.
- •3\. Distorted neck anatomy
- •4\. Any infection at the tracheostomy site
- •5\. Morbidly obese patients( BMI \> 35\)
- •6\. Platelet count less than 50000/cu. mm
- •7\. INR more than 1\.5
- •8\. Positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) more
- •than 15 cm H2O.
- •9\. Fraction of inspired oxygen (FiO2\)
