Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients suitable for ambulatory anorectal surgery (EUA and LOF\+/\- seton, hemorrhoidectomy, Sphincterotomy, Intersphincteric abscess drainage, etc)
- •2\. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with chronic backache, spinal deformities, history of prolapsed intervertebral disc
- •2\. Patients with a known history of allergy to the drugs used in the study
- •3\. Patients with cardiac disease
- •4\. Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia
- •5\. Patients of ASA grade 3,4 \& 5
- •6\. Obese patient with mouth opening \< 2 fingers or difficult airway
- •7\. Lack of patientâ??s consent for either technique
- •8\. Height\- extremely short or tall
