Inclusion Criteria
- •(1) score of = 20 for the BDD-YBOCS
- •(2) primary diagnosis of BDD according to DSM-5
- •(3) between 18 and 65 years old
- •(4) access to the Internet via a computer
- •(5) Internet literacy
Exclusion Criteria
- •(1) current psychotherapeutical treatment
- •(2) psychotherapeutical treatment in the last 6 months prior to entering the study
- •(3) current substance use disorders
- •(4) current or past bipolar disorder or psychotic disorder
- •(5) current suicidality or self-harm according to DSISS = 3 (Joiner, Pfaff, & Acres, 2002)
- •(6) changes in psychopharmaceutical medication over the last 12 weeks
