简要总结

  1. To examine the effects of the cooking intervention in improving cooking confidence, self-esteem, the relationship with his/her caregiver, social network, cognitive function, self-rated health, psychosocial well-being, and the performance of instrumental activities of daily living of the care recipient who has subjective cognitive complaints;
  2. To examine the effects of the cooking intervention in improving the relationship with the care recipient who has subjective cognitive complaints, social network, self-rated health, psychosocial well-being, and stress burden of the caregivers.

入选标准

  • Care recipient:
  • People aged 60 years or older;
  • Receiving care from someone (caregiver);
  • Claim that they are forgetful;
  • Chinese origin and reside in Hong Kong;
  • Could speak and understand Cantonese.
  • Providing care to an older person aged 60 years or older.

排除标准

  • Live in residential aged care facility;
  • Recent (i.e. past 3 months) or concurrent participation in any clinical trial/intervention program;
  • With any other indication of a major medical or psychological illness as judged by the investigators as ineligible to participate in the study.
