Inclusion Criteria

Parturients in the age group of 20 to 40 years, American Society of Anesthesiologists grade I and II undergoing elective caesrean section under spinal anaesthesia will be included in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Parturients with previous history of surgery under spinal or general anesthesia.

2.History of psychiatric disease.

3.Treatment with antidepressant drugs.

3.Patients with cognitive, visual, or speech disorders.

4.Enrolled patients who subsequently required emergency surgery or required general anaesthesia will be excluded.
