Inclusion Criteria

•Participants who are diagnosed as having grade 1 to grade 3 of cervical spondylosis radiographically as per Kellgren and Lawrence system of classification of osteoarthritis [5].

a)Grade 0 (none): definite absence of changes of osteoarthritis

b)Grade 1 (doubtful): doubtful joint space narrowing and possible osteophytic lipping

c)Grade 2 (minimal): definite osteophytes and possible joint space narrowing

d)Grade 3 (moderate): moderate multiple osteophytes, definite narrowing of joint space and some sclerosis and possible deformity of bone ends

e)Grade 4 (severe): large osteophytes, marked narrowing of joint space, severe sclerosis and definite deformity of bone ends

Exclusion Criteria

1.Radiologically diagnosed cases of cervical spondylosis where patient has symptoms like sirogurutva and sthambha

2.Participants which are contra-indicated for marsa nasya karma as per Ayurveda classics like bleeding disorders, menstrual phase, rhinitis, lactating phase, respiratory illness, just after any other panchakarma procedures, who are in diagnosed phase of aamatva etc.

3.Participants with cervical rib, traumatic injury, dislocation or fracture of neck and shoulder joint.

4.Participants with sero-negative arthritis, diagnosed rheumatoid athritis and rheumatic fever, other serious systemic illness

5.Pregnant and lactating mothers.

6.Participants with nasal polyps, nasal bone fracture.

7.Participants with uncontrolled hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus.

8.The inflammatory pathologies of cervical spine like ankylosing spondylitis, Reiterâ??s syndrome, and psoriatic arthritis.

9.Acute neck strain, postural neck ache or whiplash

10.Fibromyalgia and psychogenic neck pain

11.Severe Disc prolapse or diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis

12.Pagetâ??s disease, osteoporosis.
