Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Compared group
- •1\. Admitted patients who were diagnosed as sepsis (sepsis, severe sepsis, septic shock)
- •2\. Sepsis patients who were diagnosed as sepsis induced myocardial dysfunction
- •3\. Aged 20\-100 years during sepsis
- •Controlled group
- •1\. Admitted patients who were diagnosed as sepsis (sepsis, severe sepsis, septic shock)
- •2\. Aged 20\-100 years during sepsis
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Not fulfill criteria of sepsis from Sepsis\-3 definition
- •2\. Prior history of reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (\< 40%)
- •3\. Concurrent acute myocardial infarction
- •4\. Echocardiogram shows stress induced cardiomyopathy
- •5\. History of prior medications or drugs which can cause myocardial dysfunction such as doxorubicin, trastuzumab, amphetamine
- •6\. Cardiac arrest in admission
