Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age 18 yrs or more
- •Scheduled to visit the pre anaesthesia check clinic at Tata Memorial Hospital
- •Postoperative patients who have undergone surgery under anaesthesia at Tata Memorial Hospital prior to discharge from hospital
Exclusion Criteria
- •Any patient under the age of 18 years
- •Patients who are not willing to participate in the study
- •Patients post head and neck surgery or any procedure that interferes with their ability to communicate eg. neurosurgery, need for elective postoperative intubation and /or ventilation, patients with tracheostomy.
- •Psychiatric patients, patients using psychoactive drugs
- •Patients who are unable to comprehend the questions (due to language barrier, etc.)
