age over 40 years of age; clinical criteria of OA including pain for at least 3 months and a pain level higher than 3 on a verbal numerical scale during gait, crepitus on joint mobilization and morning stiffness lasting 30 min or less; radiological signs of moderate KOA with grade 2 of KL scale in at least one knee; primary osteoarthritis; Independent walking without use of assistive device; BMI <35.
Exclusion criteria: any vestibular, neurological (i.e. stroke, Parkinson’s, etc.)or any other musculoskeletal disorders and cardiovascular problem that limits patient’s ability to walk or cause any gait disorder; any altered sensation or nerve damage over the anterior knee; lower body surgery, injury or fracture within last 6 months; serious knee trauma and surgery in the past six months; surgery or injury to the back in the past 2 years; history of total knee arthroplasty; lower limb joint replacement; dysfunction in back, hip or foot; inflammatory or systemic arthritic condition e.g. rheumatoid arthritis ,psoriatic arthritis or gout; chronic widespread pain; major loss of vision; intra articular steroid or hylan G-F 20 injection within the previous 6 months; taking pain killers; presence of a severe medical condition that precluded safe participation in an exercise or gait program; intention to start or current participation in physiotherapy for knee OA in the last 12 months; history of lower limb strengthening program; more than 5 degrees of valgus malalignment on radiograph with anatomic alignment.

Name Time Method Pain. Timepoint: Before and Immediately After Treatment. Method of measurement: VAS, KOOS questionnaire.

Name Time Method Knee Adduction Moment, Knee Joint Velocity, Knee Joint Angle, Ground Reaction Force. Timepoint: Before and Immediately After Treatment. Method of measurement: three-dimensional Motion Analysis System (Qualysis Motion Analysis + Kistler Force Plate).
