Inclusion Criteria
Patients with:
Malignant squamous cell carcinoma in the area of the aerodigestive tract, the lips, oral cavities, nose, throat, laryngeal carcinoma
Preliminary stages: leukoplakia in the area described above
Reinke edema on the vocal folds
Benign tumors of the parotid glands (pleomorphic adenomas, cystadenolymphomas)
re-filling in case of multiple illnesses or repeated therapies for the above illnesses possible
Minimum age 18 years
Informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
Secondary tumor disease (metastases of non-ENT malignancies)
tumor disease of the esophagus (primary disease)
Lack of study readiness, e.g. due to limited intellectual ability to study or due to written-language barriers (compliance)
