Inclusion Criteria
ASA PS 1 AND 2
OPEN ANDOMINAL GYNAECOLOGICAL PROCEDURES OF MORE THAN 2 HOURS DURATION REQUIRING GA WITH ETT AND IPPV
BMI 18-30 kg/m2
Exclusion Criteria
Patients on sedatives/hypnotics preoperatively
Haemodynamically unstable patients with large fluid shifts
Patients in altered sensorium (GCS < 15)
Hypothermic patients (core body temperature < 35ï?°C)
Patients with psychiatric illness/alcohol abusers
Requiring head, neck or laparoscopic surgeries
Patients scheduled for surgery for acute burns

Name Time Method ISOFLURANE CONSUMPTION IN millilitres(ml) <br/ ><br>RECOVERY PROFILE OF PATIENTS FROM GENERAL ANAESTHESIATimepoint: ISOFLURANE CONSUMPTION IN ml will be calculated from start of anaesthesia with isoflurane till cutting off isoflurane at end of procedure. <br/ ><br>RECOVERY PROFILE OF PATIENTS FROM GENERAL ANAESTHESIA will be calculated from time of cutting off of isoflurane anaesthetic agent till the time of eye opening, time of extubation, time at which patient starts obeying commands and time to readiness to recovery room discharge based on post anaesthesia recovery scores.
