Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Achieved developmental milestone of at least sitting up without support
  • •Patients tolerating and practicing sham feed for a minimum of three months
  • •Weighting 8kg and above
  • •Patients with either Pure esophageal atresia or LGEA with a diversion in the neonatal period.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Esophageal replacement with conduit other than the stomach
  • •Associated major congenital cardiac anomalies requiring cardiac/cardiothoracic intervention
  • •Associated with major developmental delay requiring neurological intervention
  • •Patients requiring replacement for caustic/acid injuries
