Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Achieved developmental milestone of at least sitting up without support
- •Patients tolerating and practicing sham feed for a minimum of three months
- •Weighting 8kg and above
- •Patients with either Pure esophageal atresia or LGEA with a diversion in the neonatal period.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Esophageal replacement with conduit other than the stomach
- •Associated major congenital cardiac anomalies requiring cardiac/cardiothoracic intervention
- •Associated with major developmental delay requiring neurological intervention
- •Patients requiring replacement for caustic/acid injuries
