1.Stroke occurred within six months
2.1st episode of stroke
3.Mild or no cognitive deficit [Mini mental Status Score > 21 points]
4. Presence of minimal voluntary active shoulder abduction and flexion and elbow flexion (at least 10-20° active ROM at shoulder abduction and flexion, and 10-20° active elbow flexion)
5.Presence of spasticity in elbow flexors of grade one plus (1+) or more in modified Ashworth scale.
1.Recurrent stroke
2.Presence of neuropathic pain in affected limb
3.Presence of contractures of affected wrist and fingers
4.Severe spasticity of affected limb (MAS >3)
5.COgnitive dysfunction (MMSE <21 ponts)
6.Haemodynamically unstable patients
7.Presence of previous neurological disorder (due to any etiology)
