1. Children 12-59 months of age with Hb 7-10.9 g/dl and Transferrin saturation <16%
Received blood transfusion in last 3months
Received iron supplementation for >= 2weeks in last 2 months
Chronic gastrointestinal condition which affects the iron absorption such as chronic diarrhoea , celiac disease
Any chronic systemic illness ( JRA, SLE, Chronic renal failure)
