Inclusion Criteria

Term mothers who had undergone vaginal delivery in the delivery room at Ang Thong hospital from January to November 2013.

Exclusion Criteria

Gestational periods less than 37 weeks or more than 41 weeks and 6 days,complicated pregnancies, complicated neonatal outcomes, delivery complications, mothers who had contraindication for breastfeeding, and mothers who were hearing-impaired or who could not verbally communicate in the Thai language.
