Patients with an incurable and progressive disease and their relatives and carers
- Care in the inpatient or outpatient palliative or hospice care of the University Hospital of Cologne (palliative care ward, hospice service, medical care centre)
Palliative medicine, palliative medical service, specialised outpatient palliative care
- Age of majority (= 18 years)
- Sufficient knowledge of German as assessed by healthcare staff
- Cognitive ability to consent to the study and conduct the interview as assessed by the healthcare staff
- No or subsequently withdrawn consent to participate in the interview
- Insufficient knowledge of German for the interview as assessed by the healthcare professional
-No sufficient cognitive ability to consent to the study and conduct the interview as assessed by healthcare staff
