Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Maternal age ≥ 18 years old
  • •Singleton pregnancy
  • •37 complete weeks to 41\+6 weeks of gestational age
  • •Normal vaginal delivery with or without episiotomy
  • •Estimate neonatal birth weight 2,500\-4,000 gm by measuring tape (Johnson's formula) or ultrasound (Hadlock)

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Prior of postpartum hemorrhage, hypertension in pregnancy, bleeding during pregnancy, polyhydramnios, uterine anomalies, and/or abnormal placentation
  • •Maternal or intrauterine infection
  • •Coagulopathy or anticoagulant drugs used
  • •Abnormal progression of labor (prolongation disorder, protraction disorder, arrest disorder, and precipitate labor).
