Inclusion Criteria

Classification of obesity according to the pediatric body mass index (BMI) for age and gender, waist circumference (WC) based on the criteria for age, age between 12 and 15 years on the day of assessment, absence of clinical conditions that made physical activities impossible, a free and informed consent for participation in the program signed by the parents or legal guardians.

Exclusion Criteria

Participants aged not compatible with the age proposed by the program, the participant has a disease of metabolic, physical or psychological origin that could prevent the emergence of physical exercise and not be classified as obese by BMI.

Decreased prevalence of hepatic steatosis through diagnostic ultrasound. The criteria for diagnosing the presence or absence of disease were: (i) Absence: normal echogenicity and (ii) Presence: Alteration of the fine echoes, visualization of diaphragm and intra hepatic vessel borders according to the literature.;Reduce the prevalence of fatty liver and / or degree of illness.

Significant decrease in the percentage of fat and increase lean body mass through analyzes of bone densitometry, besides the improvement in lipid levels. For the analysis of body composition and body fat distribution was employed the technique of X-ray absorptiometry dual energy absorptiometry (DEXA), and the analysis of the lipid profile was performed biochemical respecting the fasting for 12 hours, and the collections be held in a private laboratory conveniado university.;Improvement body composition.Improvement in lipid profile.
