Patients aged 60 years and over; received hip joint replacement surgery; informed consent; ASA I or II.
History of psychiatric disorders, cerebrovascular diseases and diabetes; long term use of nervous and mental system drugs (such as sedative hypnotics and antidepressants); history of alcohol abuse; severe impairment on speaking, hearing and vision that difficult to communicate; MMSE score < 23 one day before surgery.
