Age 20-65 years
BMI>25
Willingness to Participate in Treatment Sessions and Complete the Informed Consent form
Having at Least a High School Diploma
Exclusion Criteria
History of Receiving Psychiatric Medication or Psychotherapy in the Last 6 Months
Having a Medical Disease Justifying Obesity and Major Psychiatric Disorders

Name Time Method In the study of the Effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment-based Therapy (ACT) on People overweight, the primary Outcome Variable, the Weight of People in Body mass index is more than 25. Timepoint: The Time Periods of Measuring Lifestyle, Quality of life Psychophysical and Psychological Symptoms, Body mass index are at the Beginning of the Study (before the start of the intervention) and after the end of the Intervention, and 2 Months after the end of the Intervention. Method of measurement: In the study of the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) on overweight people, the way to measure the outcome variable of people's score in the body mass index, which is used to measure weight (with minimal clothing) from a digital scale and to measure Height (without shoes) will be used from a standard tape measure installed on the wall.
