Inclusion Criteria
1. aged between 18 and 80 years
2. had a diagnosis of ataxic stroke
3. demonstrated the ability to follow two steps of command
4. provided written informed consent before participation.
Exclusion Criteria
1. had neurological conditions affecting movement
2. had severe orthopaedic issues such as fractures

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) at the beginning of study (single assessment) The SARA includes 8 items, gait, stance, sitting, speech disturbance, finger chase, nose-finger test, fast alternating hand and heel-shin slide.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Barthel index-Thai version (BI-Thai) at the beginning of study (single assessment) Consisting of 10 items that gauge activities of daily living, each scored at 0, 5, or 10, it yields a maximum total score ranging from 0 to 100.,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Thai version (NIHSS-T) at the beginning of study (single assessment) It comprises 11 items for assessing level of consciousness, language, neglect, visual-field loss, extraocular movement, motor strength, ataxia, dysarthria, and sensory loss.,International Cooperative Ataxia Rating Scale (ICARS) at the beginning of study (single assessment) The ICARS consists of 19 items grouped into four subscales: posture and gait disturbance, kinetic function, speech disorders, and oculomotor disorders.
