简要总结

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Task-Oriented Circuit Training (TOCT) on balance and depression in stroke patients. Stroke often leads to impaired balance, reduced mobility, and psychological issues such as depression, which negatively affect functional independence and quality of life.A randomized controlled trial design will be used, involving 46 stroke patients who meet the inclusion criteria. Participants will be randomly divided into two groups:

Group A will receive Task-Oriented Circuit Training along with conventional physiotherapy.

Group B will receive conventional physiotherapy alone.

The intervention will be conducted for 4 weeks, with 30-minute sessions, three times per week. Balance will be assessed using the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test, and depression will be measured using the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS).

The study is expected to demonstrate that TOCT is a safe, cost-effective, and practical rehabilitation approach that significantly improves balance and reduces depressive symptoms in stroke patients. The findings may help support the incorporation of task-oriented circuit training into routine stroke rehabilitation programs to enhance both physical and psychological outcomes.
