Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Women with mild to moderate gestational diabetes controlled with Medical nutrition therapy or Medical nutrition therapy and oral hypoglycaemic agents with fasting blood glucose level \<95mg/dl or 2 hr post prandial level of \<140mg/dl between 28\-32 weeks

Exclusion Criteria

  • Preexisting type 1 or type 2 diabetes
  • Multiple pregnancy
  • Ruptured membranes
  • Gestational hypertension
  • Gestational diabetes requiring insulin
