1. Age of 16 to 30 years at the beginning of treatment.
2. Angles Class I and/or class II division I malocclusion requiring en-masse retraction.
3. Full complement of teeth present till the second molars.
4. No prosthesis e.g.: FPD.
5. No impacted teeth till second molars.
6. Medically fit individual with no systemic diseases and not under any medication.
7. With healthy periodontium.
8. CBCT scan at the initiation of fixed orthodontic treatment and after completion of retraction.
1. Angleâ??s class III malocclusion.
2. Skeletal class III cases
3. Patient with history of orthodontic treatment, fixed functional therapy and orthognathic surgery.
4. Patient with gross facial asymmetry.
5. Congenitally missing teeth except for third molars.
6. Pregnant women.
