Sixty six children of ASA PS 1 and 2 up to the age of 10 years undergoing laparoscopic surgeries under endotracheal general anaesthesia (GA) with pneumoperitoneum lasting for more than 30 minutes will be included in this study.
1.Surgeries requiring a position other than supine
2.Guardians refusal to give consent
3.Children with recent ( <2 weeks) upper respiratory tract infection
4.History of malignant hyperthermia or any disease with contraindication to use of routine anaesthetic medication
