Inclusion Criteria
Patients > 18 years with the indication for invasive coronary diagnostic
- first left heart catheterization
- given written and documented informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- insufficient knowledge of german language
- severe cognitive limitations (for example dementia, patients under legal care)
- severe psychiatric pathologies
- missing written patient informed consent

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Subjective and objective patient understanding is tested by two patient questionnaires following patient informed consent. To test subjective patient understanding the patient can choose between 4 given answers. Objective patient understanding is tested by a questionnaire with multiple choice answers covering the content of the patient information. Influence of the informed consent on patient anxiety (State-Trait-Anxiety Inventory, STAI).
