All patients aged between 18-85 years, planned for midline laparotomy in emergeny
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with chronic use of analgesics, history of drugs or alcohol abuse, neuropsychiatric disorders, ASA grade 4, known allergy to study drug, cardiorespiratory compromise, patients requiring post operative mechanical ventilation or sedation, and failed to understand or sign the informed consen
