Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
The primary endpoint is the comparison of the two curricula in relation to the respective results of the final exams at both locations.

To this end, students at both universities wrote final exams that were identical in question and scope at the end of each semester of the included winter semester. These are 30 multiple-choice questions that reflect the entire knowledge taught, with a processing time of 45 minutes, which were completed by the participants in the otolaryngology block course of the respective semester. The points achieved or the average values ??of the points achieved are determined for each measurement point (each winter semester) and statistically evaluated. The resulting significant differences are presented.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
The secondary endpoint is the identification of differences in the way knowledge is conveyed. For this purpose, the curricula for each included semester are divided into different sub-areas. These include, for example, the duration and number of lectures, how many practical and theoretical courses are offered, the duration of the block course in general, when which tools (online courses or OSCE) are added and which events require compulsory or optional participation. The aim is to be able to use the differences developed to explain possible significant differences in the final exams and thus to be able to recognize the quality of the teaching and provide recommendations for action.
