Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All children presenting with status epilepticus with duration \> 5 minutes.
- •Failure of first and second line antiepileptics
- •age group 2 to 14 years
Exclusion Criteria
- •All children with diagnosed muscular dystrophies on clinical examination.
- •severe hypotension(according to age )
- •severe atrial or ventricular block(on ecg)
- •metabolic diseases (hypoglycemia, hypocalcemia, hypomagnesemia, hyponatremia, hypenatremia, uremicencephalophaty, hepaticencephlopathy).
- •History of use of anticonvulsants before presenting to hospital.
- •Renal or Hepatic diseases on medical records and relevant investigations.
