Inclusion Criteria
Aged 65 years or over
- Living independently in one of the five selected municipalities
Exclusion Criteria
-Having an allergy for or being sensitive to milk proteins
-Being lactose intolerant

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary outcome of this study is the change in physical functioning (Short Physical Performance Battery score).
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Secondary parameters are measured at 12, 24 and 26 weeks: Quality of life (EQ-5D-5L), physical functioning (Timed Up-and-Go, 6 minute walking test), leg muscle strength (3-RM and dynamometer), body composition (DEXA), protein intake (3-day food diaries), social participation, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and behavioural determinants. Besides, healthcare and patient costs and indicators related to process evaluation (acceptability, applicability, integrity, reach/dose) are secondary outcomes.
