Inclusion Criteria
1. Patients older than 60
2. Males or females
3. At the minimum of 15 teeth
4. At least 1 site with pocket depth >5 mm
5. Two teeth with clinical attachment level > 6 mm at baseline
Exclusion Criteria
1. Total edentulism
2. Presence of acute periodontal diseases
3. Neurologic and auditive problems
