Patients (males)
- who suffer from diagnosed chronic nonspecific back pain (Chronic Nonspecific Low Back Pain) (ICD M40-M54),
- who have sufficient physical fitness to take part in outdoor activities,
- who have sufficient linguistic and cognitive skills to participate in the study, especially in the sense of the skills that understand the declaration of consent and adequately implement exercise instructions from medical and health science professionals
and be able to answer questionnaires
- and who have signed a written consent form.
- untreated or acute malignant diseases,
- previous operations in the lumbar spine area,
- Suspected acute disc herniation,
- Contraindications to balneotherapy: manifest internal medical concomitant diseases,
- unstable high blood pressure,
- thrombosis,
- endocrine diseases such as hyperthyroidism and
- hyperparathyroidism,
- other uncontrolled metabolic diseases such as diabetes
mellitus, active infectious diseases, incontinence,
- hernias,
- history of cerebrovascular and neurological diseases,
- chronic, inflammatory rheumatism,
- pathological disorders of the immune system,
- severe respiratory diseases requiring oxygen supplementation,
- acute or untreated mental illnesses,
- Heart failure
kidney failure,
- alcohol abuse (ICD F10.1),
- drug abuse (ICD F11-F19),
- Taking >5mg/d prednisone, colchicine, Imuran, Methodrexate, azathioprine,
- Cyclophosphamide, cyclosporine or interferon preparations
- or do not have sufficient knowledge of German (spoken and written/questionnaires).
