Inclusion Criteria
-patients who age of >/=18 years old
-Has been diagnosed as Parkinson disease according to UKPDS Brain bank criteria who are in stable disease (no need for medication adjustment at least 4 weeks before enrollment.
-Met criteria of chronic constipation according to ROME IV criteria (ROME IV diagnosis criteria for constipation)
Exclusion Criteria
- Had alternative cause of chronic constipation eg.
oHistory of abdominal surgery except anorectal surgery, appendectomy and cholecystectomy.
oRecieve drugs which effect GI motility eg. opioids, anticholinergic agents
oHave endrocrinologic disease or metabolic derangement which caused constipation eg.hypothyroidism, hypercalcemia
omegacolon/megarectum, pseudo-colonic obstruction
-Has been diagnosed as colonic cancer before the enrolment all participants with age 50 year should be underwent colonic cancer screening
-Allergic to prucalopride or medication component.
-Currently treated with prucalopride before the enrollment.
-Severe dementia or unable to fill the questionnaires.
-Pregnant or lactating women.
