Inclusion Criteria

The study subjects were recruited by revealing the selection criteria through the overall announcement of the rehabilitation treatment team-nursing department in the hospital, and sending a cooperative letter to the administrative team to guide them, and the selection criteria were selected as follows by referring to previous studies that applied Kinesio tapping to stroke patients. (1) patients with hemiplegia among Stroke patients (diagnostic names including infarction or bleeding) within 6 months from the onset of the disease, (2) patients with a score of 24 or higher for MMSE-K (Korean Simple Mental Health Test, Mini Mental State Examination – Korean), (3) those who can walk under a minimal assist, (4) patients whose TUG (Timed Up and Go, standing and walking test) records are deteriorated for more than 14 seconds before conducting the study, and (5) patients who do not have skin diseases to attach and detach Kinesio tapping from the Plantar of their feet.

Exclusion Criteria

The criteria for exclusion of the study subjects are as follows: (1) patients with cardiopulmonary disease, which is difficult to participate in the study, (2) patients with a bone fracture in the lower extremities or a history of surgery in which an artificial structure is inserted in the joint, (3) patients with an MMSE-K score of 23 or less, (4) patients with outpatient visits, and (5) patients with chronic stroke over 6 months from the date of onset were excluded.
