入选标准
- •1. 30 ASA I and II patients
- •2. 18 to 60 years of age
- •3. Patients scheduled to undergo unilateral upper limb surgery under ultrasound-guided supraclavicular brachial plexus block
排除标准
- •1. Age < 18 years or > 60 years
- •2. Body mass index = 35kg/m2
- •3. Inability to consent to the study
- •4. Local infection at the puncture site
- •5. Allergies / contraindications to any of the drugs used in the study
- •6. History of endocrine diseases
- •7. Significant cognitive or psychiatric disease
- •8. Coagulopathy
- •9. Systemic glucocorticoid use
- •10. Routine use of opioid medications
- •11. Diabetes
- •12. Chest or shoulder deformities on the operative side
- •13. Pre-existing neurological disease or neuropathy in the upper extremities
- •14. Regional block refusal / contraindication
- •15. Inability to understand the scoring systems to be used in the study
