1.Subjects having Class I bimaxillary dentoalveolar protrusion malocclusion or Class II div 1 malocclusion with Normo divergent growth pattern (FMA, 200-250).
2.Minimum crowding or spacing in maxillary arch.
3.Requiring maxillary 1st premolars or, all 1st premolar extraction for correction of malocclusion.
4.Presence of full complement of teeth except 3rd molars.
5.Good oral hygiene (probing depth of < 3mm and Gingival Index score <1).
1.History of previous orthodontic treatment.
2.Subject who fails to maintain good oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment.
3.Subjects with pregnancy.
4.Subjects having any known syndrome or metabolic disorder affecting calcium and phosphate metabolism.
5.Medication like NSAIDs.
6.Lack of manual dexterity.
7.Having medications for any systemic disease.
8.Known blood disorder like thrombocytopenia, leukopenia etc.
9.Patient not ready to give consent for the procedure.

Name Time Method Elevation of expression of RANKL and OPG in gingival crevicular fluid distal to canines on experimental and control side, prior to premolar extraction(T0), after 4 weeks after premolars extraction (T1), 8-weeks (T2), 12-weeks (T3) and 16-weeks (T4) after premolar extraction.Timepoint: RANKL and OPG in GCF will be estimated at an interval of 4 weeks
