Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age 18 years of age \- 60 years of age
- •2\. Irrespective of caste, religion , sex mild to moderate cases of ulcerative colitis (mayo’s score 3\-10 and true and witts criteria)
- •3\.previous diagnosed case of ulcerative colitis.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.patient above 60 years and below 18 years of age
- •2\.Toxic mega colon/ Fulminant type of disease
- •3\.Severe type of Ulcerative colitis (Mayo score 11\-12\)
- •4\.Known active infection (TB, HIV, C. Dificile, CMV)
- •5\.Gastro intestinal perforation
- •6\.Infective colitis, ischemic colitis, solitary ulcer syndrome, irradiation colitis
- •7\.Lactose intolerance.
- •8\.Pregnant females
- •9\.known malignancy
