Dyslipidemia is the most important atherosclerotic risk factor. Review of population-based studies in India shows increasing mean total cholesterol levels. Recent studies have reported that high cholesterol is present in 25–30% of urban and 15–20% rural subjects. This prevalence is lower than high-income countries. The most common dyslipidemia in India is borderline high LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol and high triglycerides.
The present study was therefore designed to attempt to evaluate the efficacy of a homoeopathic medicine in the treatment of Dyslipidemia.
At the end of study, it is expected that individualized homeopathic medicine selected with the help of Repertorium Homoeopathicum Syntheticum will show effective result in management of Dyslipidemia. The study will determine different causative factor related to Dyslipidemia and predict the outcome of individualized homeopathic medicine in improving the quality of life of patient. If the results will be positive, a certain group of remedies can be observed which are frequently indicated in cases of Dyslipidemia. There will be also improvement of mental health & behavior of the patient, with overall enhancement in the susceptibility & vitality of the patient.

入选标准
- •1.Patient of age 25 year to 60 year of either sex.
- •2.Patient giving consent to participate.
- •3.Patients fulfilling the Diagnostic Criteria based on clinical presentation.
- •Diagnostic criteria Dyslipidemia is characterized by fasting: 1.Total cholesterol-more than 200 mg/dl.
- •2.Low density lipoprotein more than 130 mg/dl.
- •3.Triglyceride-more than 150 mg/dl.
排除标准
- •1.Patient of age less than 25 years and above 60 years.
- •Continuous use of drugs that affect lipid metabolism.
- •3.Patient suffering from serious illness such as stroke, Myocardial infarction, chronic kidney disease and their complication.
- •4.Patient not willing to give consent.
- •5.Patients undergoing Allopathic medication for Dyslipidemia.
- •6.Self-reported immuno compromised state.
