The inclusion criteria : a reliable history of minor RAS; the presence of 1-5 numbers of discrete, painful, aphthous ulcers at the same time; enrollment of the patient into the study within 3 days or less of the appearance of the ulcers.
The exclusion criteria : age less than 12 years; people with systemic diseases such as liver-kidney-heart immunological problems; pregnancy & breast-feeding; smokers and alcohol; any known systemic disease that could have predisposed the patient to miRAS like Behcet disese, Cowden, Ulcerative Colitis, Severe Anemia; a history of having received corticoid-steroid therapy in the previous 1 months and antibiotic therapy in the 2 weeks ago.;treatment of their current ulcers with any form of topical medications
