Inclusion Criteria

Histopathological diagnosis confirmed squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck; Age greater than 18 years of age; In need of radiotherapy treatment; Accept participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

Individuals who do not have capacity or have limitations that prevent them from responding to the questionnaires.

Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Primary outcome is the reduction of the patient's xerostomia after treatment. To evaluate the patient's xerostomia, the Xerostomia Inventory and sialometry will be used. To determine if reduction of the xerostomia occurred, the test at the beginning and at the end of the chemotherapy treatment will be compared. It is important to emphasize that the statistical test that is best suited for this evaluation can only be defined after data collection.
