Patients underwent a pulmonary metastasectomy in oncological curative intention and with functional operability.

Treatment was performed at the Dept. for Thoracic Surgery in Freiburg from 01/2000-12/2019.

To recognise the possible predictive factors for overall survival after repeated pulmonary metastasectomy for tumor relapse.

- to define whether the repeated surgical resection has an advance compared with the first pulmonary metastasectomy or the other available therapeutic options (e.g. chemotherapy, radiation) after a metastatic relapse after pulmonary metastasectomy, to identify possible prognostic factors of a pulmonary metastatic relapse after the first pulmonary metastasectomy<br>- evaluation of the performed surgical techniques<br>- complications (e.g. pneumothorax, haemorrhage, pneumonia).
