The purpose of this study is to explore the lived experiences of family caregivers who are caring for patients with advanced cancer, who are undergoing palliative care treatment in an Indian hospice setting.

Inclusion Criteria
Primary (Family) caregivers aged more than 18 years and are aware of the diagnosis
Primary (Family) caregivers must have cared for the patient for at least 1 year.
Primary (Family) caregivers from urban and rural parts of Karnataka
Primary (Family) caregivers with verbal fluency in either one of the languages, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and English
Exclusion Criteria
Caregivers of patients with co-morbid conditions such as Human Immunodeficiency illness and Alzheimerâ??s Dementia.
Caregivers caring for non-cancer patients.
Caregivers of patients who are currently undergoing curative treatment.
Caregivers of patients who are put under EOLC.
