Brief Summary
Delirium is the acute decline and fluctuation in cognitive function following surgery and is common among kidney transplant recipients of all ages.It is frequently unrecognized and underdiagnosed and manifestation is often variable and inconsistent. Delirium is associated with adverse outcomes such as- extended hospitalization, delayed graft function,graft loss, increased morbidity and mortality.It has multifactorial etiologies complex mix of predisposing recipients, donor, transplant factor,as well as intra-operative and perioperative factors.Information of the incidence and risk factors for post-operative delirium in renal transplant s scare.The primary Aim: To establish the incidence and identify the risk factors of post-operative delirium in patients undergoing renal transplant surgery under general anesthesia

Inclusion Criteria
- •Patient age from 18 to 60 years both male and female with informed consent obtained from them.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Pre- existing cognitive dysfunction or dementia
- •On mechanical ventilation post-operatively in ICU
- •Incomplete data.
Outcomes
Primary Outcomes
Incidence 0f Post Operative Delirium during the first 24 hours post extubation (POD defined as a single event of positive CAM ICU, assessed every 2 hour post extubation )
Time Frame: First 24 hours post extubation
Secondary Outcomes
- 1. Incidence of Post operative delirium at any time point in ICU stay assessed 12hourly until discharge from ICU(2. Risk factors of interest: Preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative)
