Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.30\-60 years of age
  • •2\.Give informed consent.
  • •3\.Patient with moderate to severe periodontitis with probing pocket depth \>\= 5mm
  • •4\.\>\=20 teeth present
  • •5\.Systemically healthy patients

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Pregnant or lactating women
  • •3\.Undergone periodontal therapy in last 6 months
  • •4\.Received antimicrobial therapy(local and/or systemic) in last 6 months
  • •5\.Patients who were taking or had consumed anti\-inflammatory agent in last 3 months.
  • •6\.Patients with any systemic disorder affecting periodontal health.
  • •7\. Regular users of mouthwash
