Healthy controls
Inclusion criteria
- age between 18 and 75
- right-handed
- native speaker of Dutch ;Patients:
- aphasic due to an acute non-congenital brain damage, like CVA or contusio cerebri
- native speaker of Dutch
- age between 18 and 75
- minimally three months post onset
Healthy controls
- neurological diseases or language and/or speech problems
- hearing or visual problems that influence the administration of the test ;patients:
- psychiatric diseases
- cognitive problems that influence the administration of the test (to be judged by the treating psychologist)
- visual or hearing problems that influence the administration of the test

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method <p>The final goal of this research is to come to a better understanding of the<br /><br>problems that patients with aphasia have with time aspects in the production of<br /><br>sentences and the comprehension of sentences. Results of this study will be<br /><br>compared to the outcomes of studies in at least 11 other languages within the<br /><br>TART-project. The final goal of the TART is to increase the knowledge in tense<br /><br>processing. This knowledge serves to get a clearer view on the underlying<br /><br>deficits in aphasia and this knowledge for its part is important in developing<br /><br>diagnostic and therapeutic materials.</p><br>
