简要总结
It is a study comparing Wide awake local anaesthesia with Upper limb nerve block for hand surgeries. WALANT anaesthesia ( lidocaine+ epinephrine) injected directly at the surgical site without tourniquet and sedation, no tourniquet removes the patient discomfort and epinephrine use minimises blood loss. it can be done in minor procedure room and requires less preparation time it is cost effective. Upper limb nerve block is a regional anaesthesia technique where anaesthetic drug is injected nerve the nerve plexus to anaesthetise a larger field using ultrasound machine. it may require tourniquet to minimise the bleeding. patient may be awake or sedated, complication risk are higher.

- •DURATION OF SURFGERIES LESS THAN 1 HOUR.
排除标准
- •Allergic to anaesthetic drug, injection at site of injection, coagulation disorder , Patient on Anticoagulation, psychiatric illness, neurological deficit , Raynaud’s disease , Scleroderma.

- to evaluate the difference between - Preparation time, patient satisfaction score, surgeon satisfaction score , need for rescue analgesic, need for conversion into GA, post operative VAS score, first post operative analgesic request time(At the interval of 5,10,15,30,45,minutes & 1 hour both intra operative period & post operative period)
