Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •adult patients \>18yrs of age
- •patients admitted in RICU foe \>24hrs and \<4weeks
- •intbataed or tracheostomised parients requiring Mechanical ventilation
- •pstients glasgow coma scale \>4 and \<12
Exclusion Criteria
- •quadriplegia
- •patients on inotropes/vasopressor support
- •treatment with neuromuscular blocking agents
- •Ramsay sedation score of 3 or 4
- •suspected brain death
- •patients allergic to study drugs
