Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1 birth weight less than 1750
- •2 gestational age less than 33 weeks
- •3 APGAR at 5 minutes less than 7
- •4 use of surfactant
- •5 use of anticonvulsant
- •6 phototherapy within 24 hours
- •7 cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- •8 use of blood products
- •9 use of corticosteroids for hypoglycemia
- •10 use of parenteral antibiotics for more than 7 days
Exclusion Criteria
- •1 neonates whose mothers are unable or unwilling to provide antenatal findings
- •2 those born at hospitals other than government multi specialty hospital sector 16 chandigarh
- •3 all enrolled neonates who die
